Mutations, Mutations! Mutations on a waja will either appear with an X beside them or a / beside them. Mutations with an X beside them display that mutation. Mutations with a / beside them are carried in the genes of the waja, but are not displayed.
So how does this effect breeding? If you were to breed an X to a / the pups will most likely come out with an X. The same thing goes if you were to breed a / to a /, though occasionally pups will throw a /. If you breed a waja with an X mutation to a waja without the same mutation, the mutation will most likely display as a /, but may occasionally display as an X, or not at all. If you breed a waja with a / mutation to a waja without the same mutation, the waja will either carry the mutation as a /, or not at all. |
